Just to kill the last bit hope I had left I opened up Dell 530 and has look inside and it is the G33M02. 0RY007 motherboard with the Floppy Drive...
I used CPUID CPU-Z and that tells you the motherboard revision (0Ry007), i.e. 4gb max only. Also what Everest / AIDA64 reports is compatibility...
