it's a shame the new virtual pc doesn't work on some cpu's. Works on my desktop but not on my laptop, even though it's new.... stupid microsoft, always adds new things or stops you from using certain things.
Well I have it. It's really only useful for setting up webdav or showing someone who has XP how to do stuff.
a bit better than VPC, XP Mode can directly exchange with USB Devices but the Devices does not always functioning correctly (I have my O2 Micro Smartcard Reader and a scanner manfunction in XP Mode). VMWare still the best choice if you need Virtual things.
I have XP mode up and running since last month. What do I expect with this new release? IS it worth removing RC and installing the RTM version?
It is actually your laptop manufacturer who disabled the virtualization (if your lappy CPU supports it). Stop blaming MS from everything starting from lack of drivers for 100-years old devices and ending on Earthquakes.
