Our goal is to use Win7 for free while MS's goal is to protect their intellectual property subject to resources/strategy/tecnological constraints. So what works today may not work tomorrow or it may work for ever, nobody knows.
    Thing is....enjoy windows 7 while you can:D

Remove the RemoveWAT and that KB, then try to re-install RemoveWAT.

@TheOne23: First open RemoveWAT and click "Restore WAT". Now open an elevated command prompt and type
    Code:
    sfc /scannow
Finally remove WAT again using RemoveWAT2.2.4

    Hello all

first let me say that RemoveWAT2.2.4 is great & thank you!!

Still, I am having one issue with remove RemoveWAT2.2.4 and that is a box pops up every now and again saying this windows is not genuine blah blah blah. though windows continues to work and when i start up i don't get that annoying screen telling me to activate. and it does not validate on windows genuine site checker but should it???? ive used the download tool and it say genuine. site says no. any ways, I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of that pop up. any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

download MGAdiag and run it. If it does not report "Genuine" something went wrong...

MGAdiag reports genuine. no issue there. I am just concerned about the pop up i receive every now and again telling me that windows is not genuine. and the funny thing is it does not change the wallpaper or disrupt anything. but i wonder why that pops up.

    New to the page,
thanks to all the good readin!

Originally installed Win7 Ultimate from a download tha already had Remove Wat installed,
    as per these instructions:
    Installation:
1.Burn the ISO file onto a DVD
2.Boot off the DVD ( Best to just format your harddrive and start off clean, in my opinion)
3.Choose the OS you would like to install
    4. When you get to the "Enter Key" part just leave it blank
    5. When get to the setting for updates choose "The Recommended Settings"
    6. Let the installation continue and finish
    7. When installation is all done, go and get the updates! =D
    8. Enjoy.!
Now i am getting ?Invalid License' when I run MGAdiag.
Tried to restore wat but say's it can,t, never removed.
Tried using the manual way to restore but seems I'm not savvy enough.
Anybody with any ideas where to go from here?

    Thanks for any help coming.....

I'm confused. Despite not checking the box for the update, I seem to have aquired KB9771033. This morning it told me my windows wasn't activated, or some such. I ran removeWAT 2.2 again and it said that the WAT was not removed. I tried to remove it and after rebooting and running removeWAT, still it told me WAT was not removed. Yet MGADiag tells me that my windows is genuine. In addition I tried to install Windows 7 Loader, which told me I had to remove the other crack. So what gives? Is my WAT removed or not?
