Best flash it in dos, use the dos biosflash tool for your mobo provided on intel support site. Instructions should be provided there also.

    cheers

Well I tried a USB Boot disc just to find out that you can't boot from USB. I guess I will need to put these files on a DVD. Ok what's the best way to make a bootable DVD with these files on it?

    Thanks

I'll try them all. I just want to have a bootable DVD with all of the fikes on it. Not having any luck at all. Magic didn't work for me or Power ISO. That's where I'm at.

    Thanks for posting

I do not know. I have superficial knowledge of the Intel flashers and bios, simply because they are largely proprietary. There is not a large demand for these to be figured out, and I have little interest also. Sorry....

The PCI mod is a good alternative....

I little correction here. I only get the weird colors and the blank screen if I try to flash the BIOS from within the DOS GUI of the latest IFLASH tool. I was able to flash the BIOS from the command line using the /p parameter. However, it only works with unmodified BIOS files. Trying to flash a modified BIOS file still results in a reboot. This leads me to believe there's some kind of checksum that the modified BIOS files are missing. That's probably why they're getting rejected.
