    I have a modded bios wich i got here in the forum. But it is in *.ROM file. On Intel homepage they only offer *.BIO file. Now im confused, how to install this *.ROM bios (modded)

    Any help appreciated.

    They say to use Uniflash bud. IFlash uses .bio. It won't work with modded bios. If you try it let us know how it went.

    Use this modded bios :hxxp://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/8249?page=4

    D915PCY=D915PBL=same bios

    iflash will not update same version number, but WILL allow downgrade, so you can flash next(modded) version after.

    Used BIOS supplied by Yen, and created the bootable dvd (thanks to wyrman) and it worked! Thanks to everyone who helped. Windows is now activated.

    Simply download the Intel2AMI Tool. You can search for it.

    Your original bios (*.bio) and your moddeb bios (*.rom) must be saved in the same folder location.

    Run INTEL2AMI tool. Click Browse. Click Get AMI.
    Rename the modded bios to the filename of the extracted AMI bios. This will overwrite the original bios (*.rom) that you have just extracted.
    Delete the original bios (*.bio)
    Click update on the INTEL2AMI tool.
    You will now have a modded bios in *.bio extension
