not ever one gets it my gf laptop new has this problem but it 100% intel, i think its a problem with nvidia drivers any ati users get this problem?
I found another one too. My issue is when I either hibernate my pc or put it into standby it works but when I bring it out of standby the monitor does not come back on. The only workaround that I know so far would be to restart my pc with the button. The odd thing though is that when I turn it back on my pc says "Resuming Windows". I also have XP and it does not do that at all so I am guessing that it is a windows 7 bug. The only work around is to disable "Enable Hibrid Sleep" but I like that because I can clean my RAM usage with a simple standby command.
That monitor wakeup /desktop freeze is 10000001% not because of drivers, since im having same issue on multiple systems with totaly different hardware. And if it would be because of drivers, im sure i would figure it out by now also from time to time it seems that all those "hotfixes" solve problem, but it always comes back...
Sleep mode in any windows version so far is being crap. Maybe just maybe windows 9 will fix that issue.
