and now I can install .msi but there is no entry in the list Programs and Features

 

This is why proud people stop give their "gift" (people remind it yourself) to others please STOP! attack him, I think that everyone need wilenty work. I've just used this tool on a lots of standalone virtual machines and physical one.
It's a wonderful fast and reliable tool.

I was thinking upgrading all from 3.x to 4.7 to upgrade windows xp 7 8 and 10 to latest revision maybe on monthly bases (like "simplix" package to update windows 7) but only if there are updates for sure with a local installation. Someone I think a lots of people could simple download your package one time only and upgrade more machines in one shot without redownloading everything.
I think .net have upgrades but not like visual c++ DLL. Anyway you need also previous ones like 3.0 if you install on windows xp or we could think only for windows 7 8 or 10 and tell goodbye to xp starting from 4.x package to 4.7

Now on to your question, I think if you want to add a pause, a little hint or note saying why the wait is there can be helpful like "processing" or "awaiting to confirm user input" something along those lines so that the user doesn't think the app itself has hanged.
