Hi there, I am trying to install win 2k8 x64 standard vision. Thanks to "momang", i get the key. At the stage of entering product key, i entered the key and got a message : "Windows installation has encountered an error and needs to be restarted." If i leave the key blank and continue, my computer will stuck at that page forever. Does anyone can help me out? Thanks a lot
With the method I provided from Dreamspark, don't enter the key during the install. Wait until you are done. I have seen that same error message, unless I leave it blank and continue. Then right click on Computer, properties, enter the key there and wallah you are activated. Hope that helps, if it doesn't then try burning your disk at a slower speed, 4x is better then 8x or 16x.
The redownlaod and reburn dvd didn't work Previously if i leave it blank and continue, my computer will stuck in that page. Now i removed all usb port connection and all pci card. Finally it worked out.
