Taskbar is still not in aero mode. Just some time after RTM release and we should expect alot of new useful stuff.
This had better be real. Now I can happily install 8 RTM with the $15 dollar upgrade and not worry about losing my retinas in the process. I would miss Domain join, Hyper-v, and Terminal services server if I had to go back to 7.
Good news It will let me convert Windows 8 interface more like Windows 7 for some clients who always prefer old flavor....
Costez muchos monies. I'm way too cheap to upgrade my Windows 7 home premium to pro for $100. I'm also too poor to buy VMware workstation, which costs $250, which is more than a full pro windows installation.
Hehe, you still don't have the patch only posted Photoshoped picture and page full of Chinesse babbling He probably copied: themecpl.dll, themeservice.dll, themeui.dll, UXInit.dll, uxlib.dll, uxlibres.dll, (uxsms.dll), uxtheme.dll, dwm.exe from RP (and CP)
I know it won't be easy for author of such patch due to numerous theme components/dependencies/dialogues embedded all over the Windows. I was enjoying in imagination....
It still can't be used, because MS will make SP1 or just regular Windows Update, it will update all that "patched" dlls and on the next reboot your system will crash
If this trick will work stable, Microsoft will leave it, with aero RTM will get more people buying it for later applying the patch, which in my opinion will not be free.....
