You are welcomed. Glad that it worked for you. It has worked for me so far in all INTEL boards I tried.
I have a Intel 946GZIS. When using the READ945.BAT file, I get the following: Code: C:\Documents and Settings\Jason\Desktop\INTEL\INTEL>ITK945.EXE EXTRACT -SMBIOS - INI=READ945.INI Warning: ANSI.SYS is not loaded. Colors will not be displayed. Intel(R) Integrator Toolkit Version 3.3.1.210 (Package 3.4.1) Copyright (C) 2001-2008, Intel(R) Corporation. All Rights Reserved Intel(R) Integrator Toolkit is not supported on this system. C:\DOCUME~1\Jason\Desktop\INTEL\INTEL>PAUSE Press any key to continue . . . If I use the READ865.BAT file I get: Code: C:\Documents and Settings\Jason\Desktop\INTEL\INTEL>ITK865.EXE EXTRACT -SMBIOS - INI=READ865.INI Warning: ANSI.SYS is not loaded. Colors will not be displayed. Intel(R) Integrator Toolkit Version 3.0.4.136 (Package 3.1.1.134) Copyright (C) 2001-2006, Intel(R) Corporation. All Rights Reserved SMBIOS extraction complete. Operation completed successfully C:\DOCUME~1\Jason\Desktop\INTEL\INTEL>PAUSE Press any key to continue . . . I get a READ865.INI, which has blank SMBIOS values (obviously). Do you think it's safe to use the 865 version as opposed to the 945 version, despite your detailed chipset compatibility for each?
Or just do it manually with the ITK Toolkit...No batch, just open a bios and change the SMBIOS settings..
Works For Me I have the same borad an Intel 946GZIS and I inserted the Dell instead of Hewlett Packard. Not only did it activate Win XP it also activated Vista Ultimate. Nice tool and I'm going to try it on my brothers Intel G-31. Thanks for the tool.
SLP does not activate Vista. You need many more pieces of the puzzle that for XP (read SLIC code). Maybe you used a preactivated version??
Hi i am a newbie but very willing to learn. Not sure how this software works, could someone provide more detailed instructions. This is my last hope to try to acvtivate an intel bios for windows home server. Thanks
Integrator toolkit windows version Hi everyone, I was just going through this post and downloaded the file attached earlier. I was going through Intel's website and noticed that the new version of ITK comes in a Windows version as well. By any chance the Windows version could be used to set the SystemManufacturer flag in the SMBIOS instead of using the DOS version? I am planning to use this on the D510MO motherboard.
For XP you do not need anything, as you can use Genuine oembios set No, only Dos version will do what you need (are you scared of command line?) sebus
Hi sebus, thanks for your reply. Appreciate it. No worries on the DOS one as I'm allright with it. However, just curious when you mentioned that I don't need to do anything and I can use the Genuine OEM bios set, were you reffering to the following files after I have set the SystemManufacturer flag? HP Pavilion (OEMBIOS.CAT CRC32=06D652A4) Compressed Uncompressed Thanks sebus!
You do NOT need any SystemManufacturer set at all The set is Genuine C&C (OEMBIOS.CAT CRC32=8B2EBECB) This set just works as it finds Genuine in BIOS (due to Genuine Intel processor) sebus
Hi sebus, thanks for your reply. Appreciate it. In this case, does it mean I don't need to use the tools in the zip file attached on the first thread? I actually ran the OEMBIOS tool last night and it mentioned that none of the OEMBIOS sets will pre-activate my system That's why I started looking for a means to place the SLP into the BIOS. Guess perhaps what I need to do is to somehow integrate the OEMBIOS set from Genuine C&C into my Windows CD and it should preactivate?
be sure you are using the latest oembios tool. I have just put the newer one in the OEMBIOS changer. Previous it was an older version. It may be worth the download to get the newer one..
