    Hi guys,

I am interested to know how to install a fresh copy of Windows 8.1 (32bit) on my new Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet (Atom Bay Trail platform). Since this is my first Windows tablet I am unsure.

I have a proper USB OTB adapter and a copy of the MSDN Windows 8.1 (32bit) ISO on a USB thumb drive. Is it possible to install this over the preinstalled OS? I want to remove all the bloatware that comes with the unit and setup the partitions the way I want to maximize free space since I only have the 32GB model.

If someone can let me know if its possible and the way to do it that would be fantastic. :)

    Regards,
    HMR.

Yes, it is possible. I have done it already with my Dell Venue 8 tablet.
Before you start the OS installation, you should detete all existing partitions and create a new system partition for the OS.
What you have to install is the Retail Core version of Windows 8.1. If your MSDN ISO file should contain Win 8.1 PRO, you should put an EI.CFG file into the SOURCES folder and to recreate the ISO file after having done that.

You should be able to just fine. But I am pretty sure they only published x86 drivers, and windows doesn't support connected standby in x64 installations.

Who was talking about an installation of a 64bit OS?
