    You can us this tool "Windows 7 ISO Image Edition Switcher" to convert an official Windows 7 ISO disc image into an official Windows 7 ISO disc image of another edition.

    Well, the tool isn't working anymore, and i kinda don't trust in the eicfg removal that the same developer shares.

    You can do it manually with an Iso editor like UltraISO for example.

    I used it yesterday and converted from ultimate to professional. So it was working then. And the SHA-1 number was the same as from the MSDN ;)

    the tool works perfectly, but..

    you can make a bootable usb drive with your iso and simply remove the IE.cfg from the usb drive after its made. That will keep the original iso untouched, or use UltraISO as stated and "save as" another name so you can keep the original iso untouched as well.
