    I had the same problem. Ended using WinPhlash and changed the advance options to allow flash over the same version.

    when modding using the new lenovo way, once you've done all the steps, how to you compress all the parts back into BIOS.rom so that you can flash?

    THIS IS SO AGGRAVATING!!! :mad: :confused:
    I have no .FL1 file, i have some .usf..., so i don't know how to decompress to get a .rom file. e_bcpvpw doesn't want anything to do with it
    nowhere in .usf is an oemid/oemtableid present, so i don't know where to even start...
    if i ever figured any of this out i couldn't build the parts back together into a modded bios because i can't find those instructions/tool anywhere either

    i need to go to sleep... and leave it up to the professionals

    It's easier than you think:

    Just rename *.USF to *.ROM, it's already the bios.:D;)
