Sorry, the toolkit is read only , can't modify your bios.

AVG reports it as 'Trojan SHeur.CMDD', dropping some other files in system folders like KRNLN.FNR (which is detected as a worm) and other files

    (OP)
"KRNLN.FNR " is Chinese "E language" Main(Core) library same as "MSVBVM60.DLL", It is safe , don't mind it.

Thanks, David. Worked great on 2 of my machines. Identifying your SLIC couldn't be any easier than this. I like easy.

hey how does this tool work? I already have a SLIC table in my bios, but it is only 2.0? Does this tool dump a 2.1 into my HP phoneix bios or upgrade it!?

I think it dumps slics from other computers .

So yeah it's something to aquire slic's from other pc's and not to inject slic into your own bios .

I think OP (or someone) needs to give a good description on what the f**k this is or what does it do.

I see alot of things being dumped but they all say the SLIC is 2.0, and AFAIK you need a SLIC 2.1 for Windows 7 activation.

It is what it is :p , it dumps slic from the machine it runs on .

It's designed (well not really it's for educational purposes let's say :p) to run it on a machine with the slic you wanted 8let's say a new dell running windows 7)
and it dumps the slic from that machine .

That's what it does (almost 100% sure :p)
