Windows 7 Explorer keep Crashing

    I was wondering if anyone Windows Explorer crashing or stop responding once awhile when selecting a file inside a folder? I'm using Windows 7 RTM 7600.16835 X64 from Zukona ISO.

    what's your conifg?
    are you using Kaspersky?

    Yes I'm using Kaspersky. I have a suspicion that it might be the cause. Any solution? Never had this issue when using 7100. But that was when I was unsing 2009 Kaspersky and now using 2010 kaspersky.

    i had this too, the problem was the leaked Microsft Security Essential.

    explorer crashing all the time with this AV enabled, i deinstalled it and all was fine.

    I switched to Eset Antivirus and crashing stopped so far... And by the way the system runs more smoothly
    Deinstall Kaspersky...

    Thanks for the help. I'll probably go back to 2009 version and see what happen. Since Kaspersky is a highly recommended AV, I'm going to see what happen. I once use NOD32 so I might give that another try later.
