Super newb here, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place. I have an activated win7 with Daz Windows Loader and I am wanting to upgrade to win10 with either KMS or H.W.IDGEN, is this possible to do without losing any data or programs?

Yes, as long as you upgrade to the correct 10, you should get a HWID and all files will be kept safe, apps that aren't compatible will be removed, should be reported by the setup.

You can simply extract the w10 consumer iso to a folder on the desktop and start setup.exe.

You could have selected, upgrade my pc and it would have started all.

Or now you have the iso:
With USB, the exact same but now you start setup.exe from the usb.

That doesn't matter, but you can run setup.exe, now you have the usb.
