I'm not sure I understand. Do you want to be able to include the key for each version in the answer file but still get the screen that let's you choose which to install?

Or do you want to know how to substitute the Ultimate key for another version key?

i cheat a little to have 2 autounattends, i mount the wim and put the xml in windows\panther\unattend in the individual wims and it works for me.

    There are other methods though.

Use dism to mount your install.wim & add cert & product key.

ie, for x86 mount index 5 (Ultimate)
    - copy your cert to windows\system32\oem\ folder.
    - add your product key.
    - dismount/commit

Edit sources\ei.cfg to specify which edition your installing.

    ie,
    [EditionID]
    Ultimate
    [Channel]
    OEM
    [VL]
    0

Burn this to DVD or copy to bootable USB key... No key entry, activated, no unattends...

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Agreed! Someone should put together a clear, concise, step by step thread on this to end a lot of the confusion and it should be a STICKY too! MODS??? Any chance? There are a few threads about doing a Win 7 OEM disk that have bad info in them and you have to sort through it all.

PS - Still dearly loving MDL! OK...now repeat after me and say it like Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons.....Best Forum Ever!:worthy:
