It is possible. Follow these steps: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...g-through-the-complete-upgrade-process.64770/
. You've not told in your post what results u r expecting? just fyi you have to use win 7 or win 8.1(with different trick) to get digital licence for win 10. there is no other way.
YES, IT'S POSSIBLE! Tested with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019, using KMS38 activation! I ran an activator in a VIRTUAL MACHINE (VMware Workstation) and it activated that first VM properly (as it should!). Also, I told it to save the GenuineTicket.xml file! THEN, scrapped the first VM, created a NEW VM with the same settings (same disk size, same amount of RAM, same number of CPU and CPU cores) and clean installed the same Windows LTSC 2019. After that, I copied the GenuineTicket.xml file to the new VM and manually installed it with: Code: clipup -v -o -altto c:\work\ Replace c:\work\ for the correct folder where you dropped the GenuineTicket.xml file. If you see the thread linked above (which doesn't apply to KMS activations!) this step doesn't exist there! I guess it's need for the KMS stuff (anyway, the KMS38 activation can be done completely offline). No need to do anything else (not even reboot). Just check activation status in the GUI (WIN key + PAUSE) or in the cmd line with: Code: slmgr /xpr Next step: see if the GenuineTicket.xml generated earlier can activate another SKU on another machine!!!!
Same reasoning here: activate using a burner copy installed, save the activation data, scrap the copy, clean reinstall and activate manually without ever exposing the new install to any kind of activator (Paranoid Mode ON! LOL).
we invented hwid activation generation over 2 years ago, here on MDL, we are not allowed to discuss it here. You can run the hwid gen tool on every install you want, and it will either kms38 or hwid activate it.
Hello! As you can see from my post count, I'm a newbie here in this forum! May I politely ask why we don't discuss the hwid activation here on MDL??? Regardless, I was merely pointing to the OP that he CAN save a GenuineTicket.xml after it was generated (no matter how!) and redeploy it onto the same machine after a (new) clean install (thus, avoiding the need to run an activator upon a clean install). I mean, you can backup the GenuineTicket.xml and deploy it afterwards using only native Windows tools, no need to run any kind of activator. Discussing this solution is forbidden, here? Consider that you can generate a GenuineTicket.xml on a genuine machine using gatherosstate.exe, no need for activators at all...
Reasons are somewhere posted by @Yen iirc, and among other reasons, use of slsshim and use of keys, obtained from gatherosstate.exe. All posts done by the original devs are deleted. Once a HWID is generated and established, there is not even a need to run anything, as long as the hardware is unchanged (mobo), it will always pick up the hwid (officially supported SKUs, discussed here). For other SKUs it only needs the generic hwid key for that SKU (ie, when you offline set-edition a SKU to Enterprise, it will also get the HWID (oem:nslp) key for picking up a previously established hwid).
I saw someone mentioning a dev asking for money for his tools... Is that it? Now, back to the tech discussion: I'm running the LTSC 2019 SKU, and I must install the GenuineTicket.xml using the clipup.exe tool, otherwise the system won't see the license... From your answers, I take it should pick the license as soon as I deploy the .xml in the right place???
LTSC is not HWID capable but KMS38 and not allowed to be discussed here. that dev is not the inventor, just the exe.
