This is intended for people that modified their BIOS or people that already have SLIC 2.1 in their BIOS. @adrpat thanks for offering that
This is false. We use this key for offline activation, it will continue to work for the next 10000 years without any problem. Thank you to stop saying that the key will be blacklisted. Because that doesn't change anything. The only thing we can eventually expect, it's an WGA through Windows Update that will detect and inform you that this key is invalid. But you can also turn Windows Update on manual and prevent this to happen. And until then, we'll have new keys that are non-blacklistables.
blacklisted or not, that doesn´t matter if you activate offline, i could get updates without any problems. only if you would use the lenovo key for online activation, they would realize anyway are this certs already new or still the ones from vista
the lenovo key is good for offline activations only. There is no online activation with an SLP key, if you have a SLIC marker, SLP key and cert your machine is activated. As far as the blacklisting you will be able to install the key up until SP1 probably, but come sept or oct. when you go to update Windows you will get a non-genuine warning and have to enter a new key.
the LENOVO OEM Key, is the only way to activate windows 7 were is the dought ?!?!?! if you want the windows 7 activated, this is the only way ...
