First and foremost, even if it hasn't worked for me yet, i would like to thank Orbit30 and Hazar for the Loader. Appreciate your hard work.

Okay, now going into the problem.

First, i have an eMachines computer.
I turn off the UAC and such.
    Reboot my computer.
THEN, i proceed to click the eMachines since i don't have SLIC 2.1.
THEN, i click the Install 7Loader button.
    (am i skipping/missing a step to do?)

First, it seems like it's perfect. That it's going to install. I get the message that claims that my OS is Activated. It then proceeds to reboot. Excited, i wait for my computer to boot back up. But then, to my demise, my computer has crashed back to it's factory OEM settings where my computer and files are completely gone and having to start back from scratch.

    am i doing something wrong?

i always wanted to try to mod my bios to SLIC 2.1, but i lack the intelligence to mod my bios, so emulating it is the closest thing with the loader i can do.

Lol just because you have zero confidence in modding your BIOS does not mean you can't let one of us mod it for you.:D

Yeah, pretty much. I have zero confidence in modding the bios and from what i'm reading just about in every Windows 7 activation topic, modding the Bios to SLIC 2.1 is the most simplest way to activated Windows 7.

For god's sake, i can't even get a GUI to work perfectly lol.

Who would mod my bios for me? i'm sorry, very new to the forum.

Hmm, ask around and look in a thread that does BIOS mods for your MB, like phoenix etc. Hope this helps. Once you've done that you can select 2.1 in BIOS

@kaos4200, i still have my Recovery partition. what part does it play in the Windows 7 Activation?

@jess, thanks for that. i will definitely try that out today. I can run it on my eMachines right?
