Don't use hazar&orbit 1.3 Loader!! it open ports - change internet settings!?! JUST UNPACK THE FILES AND YOU WILL SEE.
I like 1.3 it allows you to edit the oem logos before installing them (that is if you extract the exe)
Hey guys, been having some trouble getting Win7 to activate and was hoping someone could point out a mistake I've made using 7Loader. I've tried it on several clean installs (ver 1.2 and 1.3) and am not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have a homemade computer with an ASUS motherboard -- I wasn't sure what to do with the OEM aspect of the Loader, but I did some reading here and thought I needed to select ASUS as the OEM, then press the SLIC 2.1 in BIOS option, select ASUS again, and install. That gave me a product key and seemed to be successful--it told me to check my activation status--but I still have 29 days left. I tried typing the key in manually and that didn't work, and I tried installing 7loader and that didn't work, either. Was installing the OEM information at the beginning a mistake? Did I need to restart in there somewhere? Or is my particular model of motherboard (ASUS P5N32-E) a problem?
What you did wrong was click on the "SLIC 2.1" button as your computer is home built. SLIC 2.1 is only for people that have modified their BIOS on their motherboard. What you need to do is just click "Activate Windows" and that is it. Make sure you uninstall any other cracks and stuff before you click the activate button. Click on the link in my signature to a guide that should answer most of your questions.
That was the first thing I tried, right after a fresh install. :\ After the reboot I checked the activation status and it hadn't changed a thing, which was what led me to think maybe I needed some kind of BIOS modification. The only other thing I can think of that could possibly interfere is that I have the disc still in the drive -- without it in there, I get an error about reinstalling windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe and Windows won't boot. Could this possibly be solved by getting a new OEM copy and burning it to a DVD? The one I got seems fine, but something's obviously not working properly.
cpc_s don't pay any attention to what he/she/it has to say. It's obviously a troll trying to get some attention. On another note. Thank you Sir Orbit30 and Hazar for this magnificent piece of work that you guys brought out. Greetz cpg
Dav is already confirmed it. it change the ports/ internet settings. this is a offline activation why does it do that??
I have coded programs where when it's scanned it will pop up with that sort of thing. Some scanners automatically assume it changes or accesses the internet settings.Pretty sure it has something to do with the way it was coded.
Well its not so much that it does pick up a false positive in that kind of way, this type of scanner detects and logs all changes made by the uploaded application. In this case its saying the program did changed internet related settings. In a permanent way though? Not so much. Its all due to how the obscuration on installer.exe is handled, odd that it does this but with no actual outbound or inbound connections being made its pretty harmless.
og thank you Daz for clarifying. the loader DOES change internet related settings like you said. it's not risky but I it's UNNEEDED! why change internet settings? it's just bloatware loader! also install.exe are not coded in VBN! just use untermensch loader! IT is simple and it's the best loader so far.
