I have Windows 8 Pro 32 bit installed using a Volume MAK key. Could someone please tell me the best way of upgrading this to 8.1. I tried using an iso downloaded using instructions on neowin.net but 8.1 wouldn't activate with my 8.0 key, so I guess I did something wrong.
Well I've an idea. Why don't you use a Windows 8.1 MAK key? If you have a legit Windows 8 MAK-key you get also a legit key for 8.1. You know it's like moving to another house and asking astonished why your old key doesn't work on the lock of the new house.
you did everything right except, MS sent MAK keys for 8.1 out to all 8.0 MAK holders because 8.1 will not except 8.0 MAK keys at all.
