Do you have plans to do with Windows 8 (6.2) and Net 4.8? I saw ISO in the old community reported that Net 4.8 works with Windows 8 (6.2) Last year, my old community closed down.
I feel that this kind of situation is happening with Windows Vista. Where Microsoft blocks the .NET 4.6.2 installer from its initial installation on Vista before Microsoft revises the installer.
Windows 8 use msu (CBS) packages, not msi and it's not addable without breaking integrity https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1634946/
Then we can edit Server package MUM, remove pre-req, install it on Client and revert untouched MUM to packages folder. This works great for integrating SP1 into Windows 7 or Vista Ultimate Extras under 7-10
Or with 4.7.2, 4.7.2 has no issues for me, unlike 4.8, even PowerShell 3.0 works with .NET 4.7.2, and .NET 4.6.2 updates can be installed on 4.7.2.
What happends when you try to install new SSU and Sysprep image? Does it ends in infinite updates installing loop on login screen when you deploy it?
I am not tried to sysprep image at all because of the war, and I aborted that process, but I am now retrying to make a fully updated Windows Vista iso (but from a scratch), but... it will now have only Ultimate SKU (and Ukrainian language only, so, I will not post on MDL, I will instead post to a Ukrainian torrent site), because to process all SKUs and Ukrainian and English languages, it will take a very long time (so, no multi-SKU and Windows Server 2008), so, I will now sysprep only Ultimate, but still, .NET 4.7.2 have less issues for me than 4.8 Spoiler P.S. I will also make separate iso with Extended Kernel P.S. 2 If you still want to try this fully updated Windows Vista, I will post to PM when I will make this ISO
