8Gadgetpack freeze problems after update on windows 8.1

    8Gadgetpack freeze problems after update on windows 8.1


    I installed 8gadgetspack on surface pro with win8pro and they worked fine!

    After the update to win8.1 pro via the store, just freeze!

    The same result after uninstall and new install again!
    A new clean install of win8.1pro, brought the same results!

    Any suggestions???

    I also use Gadgets Revived 2.0 and it works perfectly fine on Windows 8.1 with Update. It even works better than the built-in gadgets in Windows 7, since on the rare occasions when a gadget should crash it restarts automatically without the need to click anything, which is very comfortable.

    For all gadets to display correctly (eg. Network Meter or CPU Meter), .NET Framwork 3.5 needs to be installed, otherwise the graphic output will be distorted.

    !!! Problem Solved !!!

    So guys I tested both of your suggestions above and many thanks again for your help:
    The first one is version 3 of 8gadgetspack works without freezers, but not so flawlessly as the “Gadgets Revived 2.0”
    By Gadgets Revived I was missing the sidebar, I love symmetry, and therefore I tried backwards all the versions of 8gadgetpack!
    With version 9, I have made the best experience! Until now it works without any problem!

    App: 8gadgetspack version 9
    (Works without problems on surface pro UEFI bios with secure boot, with win8.1 pro and enterprise, plus the newest MS 995 MB update 11.04.2014)

    It was not easy to find all the older versions of 8gadgetpack, so therefore here for all others with the similar needs the version 9 of 8gadgetpack:
