Hi, My Mainboard is an ABit IX38 QuadGT. I hope to obtain a SLIC 2.1 mod for this BIOS (rev.14) in order to system lock Windows 7 but the point of my post is not to request this. Here are my questions... 1) I see a list of SLIC 2.1 BIN's has been posted. Does it matter which of these is used to modify the BIOS so long as the cert matches the SLIC 2.1 table? 2) I also have a laptop - Dell Latitude D820 which has A09 BIOS. Is this BIOS used across several Dell laptops and if so how do I know which SLIC 2.1 table needs to be used to mod the BIOS? Thank you very much for your time.
1) yes 2) you should use the bios specifically designated for your laptop. As we've already shown, the version of the SLIC table only matters for what cert you use.
