1- I have gotten a copy of windows 7 rtm, however i am unsure as to whether there would be any differences between windows 7 rtm and the final release, or would they both be exactly the same. And can windows 7 rtm release get updates and service packs from microsoft (if any come out)
2- I have a genuine copy of windows vista and when I use one of the activators to activate windows 7 my windows vista gets deactivate, is there any way to activate windows 7, while keeping my vista activated? I tried activating my vista using the license key i got on the CD package however, it says the key is incorrect and unless i uninstall the windows 7 activator from windows 7 partition ( i am dual booting) the windows vista key wont work.
    help is greatly appreceated

Point 2: You need to mod your bios with SLIC 2.1 to use both versions at the same time or find a good loader that will emulate SLIC 2.1 and allow dual boot.

    Make some sense, NOT cents.

Bios modding is for losers. Don't be like Michel modding like a b**ch.

    Buy Windows 7 instead.

    :)

You're S-L-O-W. Go fetch yourself a Windows 7 Home Basic on Oct. 22nd.

You're the only one around here that's going to be fetching anything on Oct. 22nd. The rest of us are running Win7 Ultimate already, thank you very much.

    Hi

Is it possible to dual boot windows 7 x32 and x64? I have Win 7 Ultimate x32 installed that was an upgrade instalation from vista home. I wish to install an clean win 7 x64 into another partition to make some tests an migrate my configuration if everything is ok.

    Thanks

    Frodex
