A Novice Question!

    Hi, I am new to Windows 8. I am used to Windows 7, which doesn't ask for a product key. How do you install Windows 8.1 without a product key?

    Find any ISO file with serial for installation or use VL version, it doesn't ask for a key to install. I guess you are trying to install Windows which you got in internet?

    In opposite to Win 7 were one needed to delete the ei.cfg, in Win 8/8.1 you´ll need to add one here.

    Using myself this one:

    Save as ei.cfg and put into the 'sources'-directory of the ISO.
