I tried to rip a Dvd, about 6.6 GB. It took forever to finish. I had to cancel it. Should I use DVD COPY or DVD RIPPER, in order to only take the main movie and convert it to a small file? Which file format should I use if I want a small file? Thanks.

I wanted to save the file on computer.

I think that depends on what you want to do with the "small file". If you are looking at using it in a DVD player, you will need to keep it in DVD format and therefore will need to use DVD Copy. If you want to compress the movie for playing on an IPod or MP3 type of device, then you should use DVD Ripper. If you use DVD Ripper, you will need to determine which format you need the file to be in (i.e.: MP4, DivX, Xvid, etc.)
