    Hi guys,
    I would like to learn about something. I have a legit Windows 8 Single Language DVD/key and untill new Windows 8.1 arrived, I was using it. After I upgraded my operating system to Windows 8.1, a question come to my mind and I couldn't find a satisfying answer yet. What if I wanted to install my OS as a fresh one. (It seems I need to download whole 8.1 update from beginning if I use my Windows 8 DVD.)
    Here is;
    Is there any posibility if I could use my legit Windows 8 Single Language key for Windows 8.1 Single Language DVD (Which is from torrent/MSDN Untouched) while for a clean install. I mean if I enter my key, will it work or should I use that "usb ei.cfg" trick to enter the key after installation.
    Any help would be great. Thanks for your answer.

    Good day.

    Don't worry about it you did say Thanks
    just never clicked the Thanks button and to be honest thanks count goes for nothing as we don't have a reputation system anymore. But it is just nice if you do.

    That will detect the key in the BIOS as well like Belarc Advisor did?

    Wow ! that's great! thanks a loooooot! I never liked that Belarc Advisor! it finds too many keys I don't trust it

    Guide updated

    PS: Is this Windows Product Key Viewer safe or will it silently send my product key to someone?

    You expect someone that tried to compare a sha1 hash with a md5 hash to be able to understand source code :D
