A VM question

    Hi, if I want to use net in VM via Ethernet/ Wi-FI, would it connect the host machine to net as well?

    If the host machine is not connected the VM won't be either.

    Hi,
    Using VMWare Workstation Pro 12. on windows 10.
    First ensure VM in Bridged Network Mode and assign IP address, gateway etc. etc.
    On host machine, go to Network Connections, right click Ethernet Network Adapter, properties, and uncheck Internet Protocol Version 4.
    Your VM should connect to the internet. Your Host would not.
    Give it a try.
