NVIDIA does not support Vista on nForce2 based motherboard. But seem like everything working smoothly after installing Vista, except on-board sound. Using nForce3 audio driver for Vista breaks Microphone input. Anybody knows if any third-party driver to can make the sound card on NF7-S works?

Been a while since i used a NF7-s but pretty sure you could use realtek drivers (Realtek ALC650) for it.

wether realtek have vista drivers is another thing :)

Just installed AC 97 Drivers from Realtek for Vista and they just work fine :O)

I'm not allowed to post links hmpf...

Go to the realtek website( which is www realtek com), click on downloads, click on AC97 Sound drivers, tick accept and click on next, then you get a table with different drivers. I downloaded the top one for Vista/Win7.

Once downloaded unpack and run the setup, reboot and you're up and running.
