Hi , do i need to update my dx ? at dx dialog it says dx 11 also on my nvidia control panel which is strange because i have a dx 10 card . do need dx 10? which update should i have to run the games? in dx dialog it says dx11 and on my vga info also it says dx 11 but the games says i need to update my dx !!! and in Microsoft there is only the end time user version , which is 9c . dose it include dx10 also ?
When you install the game.. it will usually ask if you want to "update DirectX" . . just select "Yes" .. if the files are needed . it will be installed .. if it is not needed.. it will be skipped ... Always select "Yes" just to make the game installation happy it wont hurt anything .. Windows knows which file/version is newer and will not install an older version
