So, we have a couple of Windows Server 2008 R2 running and would like to add the RDS role, but I'm confused about the licensing. Since the servers were activated using Windows Loader 2.2.2, we have never had to add any CALs (either User or Device) to our servers. If I add the RDS role to a server activated with WinLoader, does it matter which licensing model I choose? Has anyone else tried to add the RDS role? Thanks in advance.
