After I modded the BIOS of my ASUS M4A79-T Deluxe motherboard, I got a message on the green splash screen above where it says press DEL to enter BIOS...it reads "ACC Cores Unlocked!"...and on the right bottom appeared a graphic of a square chip with an up arrow above it. What does this mean? Is it referring to the fact that I can now unlock the 4th core of a triple? I have a quad in the board already, so its no real use to me as far as I can see...
No question is stupid, only the people asking Its a fair question! I have no idea, it could be the case that nobody else knows either! My assumptive guess is it could be the provisioning for unlocking is there, and enabled, but not affecting until a tri-core is inserted.
