access my hard drive

    hi could anyone help me plz i cannot access my slave drive ,,it says the disc in drive d is not formatted.do u want to format it now.i have a lot of things on there with no back up .is there anyay i can get it back plz

    Can you post more details on what was changed in the system? This message usually mean that file system on the disk is not readable by OS.

    Try linux live cd..Ubuntu is easiest..you can move stuff if need be..

    i have xp and nothing was changed in the system.in the properties of the disc it says file system is raw not ntfs.i dont know why it has changed ty

    Not good. You can try this link
    raw-file-system
    Just add .com at the end.
