So, i have a Samsung NC10, bios rev. 11CA. I installed W7 Build 7600 Ultimate, used daz's loader (1.6.9), i think it worked at first but now it says that its not genuine in bottom right corner. So i opened the loader again and clicked advanced, then modded the bios with Acer slic, Acer Certificate, and Acer (Ultimate) serial. It still didn't work. I loaded the SLIC toolkit to see what was going on and it says that the OEM cert was not found, and that my Slic status was unverified. I didn't backup my old slic, which is silly, considering it was 2.1 and i didnt even have to flash my bios in the first place. Could someone please help me activate?
Have you flashed at all? The confusion for me is this statement The advanced tab on slic toolkit should tell you if slic 2.1 is present let's work from there. Post back.
Thanks for reading. Sorry for the confusion, when i say loader, i meant the W7 loader by Daz, (the advanced options tickbox). It lets you mod the bios if the loader has failed. When this didn't work, i then ran the toolkit to find that i have now changed my slic without backing it up, also the toolkit shows that i have 2.1, have i messed things up with the W7 loader?
I don't believe this to be true. I think it just adds the correct cert and OEM slp key if 2.1 slic is already present. It sounds like the choice that you made is not supporting the slic 2.1 present. recheck for proper cert. Post back.
Oh, well hopefully that is the case. However, the option i clicked in the W7 Loader by Daz does come under the section "BIOS mod", and after applying the bios mod in the W7 Loader, the toolkit detects and displays the new information on my slic. I have decided to re-install W7, as i never usually have any trouble with this iso and loader combo. I dont know how to recheck for a proper cert?
The condition that you are currently in does not require a reinstall of the OS but that is your call if you want me to explain how to activate post back.
I have advanced, wonder if you can explain what has just happened. Okay, so i re-installed, ran my old "trustworthy" bootloader that is obviously becoming outdated. It activated for 30days. Thats why i didnt notice anything before. It has never done this on any other machine, so I downloaded W7 Loader eXtreme Edition 3.502. This also failed to activate, but it gives you the option to extend the 30 days to 120, so i thought, why not. Clicked the button and hey presto, now it doesnt say its going to expire at all. What i dont understand is, now when i run the toolkit, my SLIC diagnosis has changed to Validated. Although, I still have a Cert. Error in the "Pkey&Cert.Valid&Backup" section. The error is, "No OEM Certificate found !(Run as Admin)" Iam already in admin.

dude , you running ENTREPRISE edition, daz loader cant do E as there haven't been any OEM key leaks. Need KMS activator or else. Get your self an ultimate version, be done
This is an ultimate version, i just clicked the "Activate as Enterprise Edition" button because nothing else would work. But as you can see, its only for 180 days
Solved I would like to close this topic now, I have downloaded Daz's 2.1 loader and it worked straight away. Fixed my cert error and everything, don't know why i didnt just get that in the first place. Guy deserves a medal. Thanks everyone for your help, much appreciated.
