USB Recovery filename ZQ1X64.fd (extract the ZQ1x64EC.bin from the windows file.. then rename)

use FN ESC keys pressed before plugging in power, and during power button press. then it should start recovery.

hi LAtinMcG, i already checked the ram, cleaned it and exchanged places to check if either of the 2 rams is defective but i think ram is not the problem..
wat do u mean by the flashing with USB SPi programmer?
    how can i do that?

    thanks!!!!

    ebay type EN25t80
then also type soic8 clip pomona

but the 3 seconds sounds like it could be something else.. have u tried a different charger ?
take dvd, hdd , reset cmos by battery ?

bios version ? try older version
    http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/38318-recovery-bios-acer-4745g

what caused this issue ? did u flash bios and THEN the problem started or ??
did u open it and check cpu fan ? if fan doesnt move at all ever.. seems bad to me. touch the cpu heatsink to see if it gets hot.

    Hi mate,
    - i wasn't able to reset the cmos by battery bcoz i don't know how.. do u know how?
    - i already tried to remove the hdd and ram then tried to turn it on but still on and off in 3secs
    - no, i haven't tried to use different charger
    - i already tried older versions like the 1.05 version but still doesn't work
    - the problem started when my graphics card failed (overheated) while playing games like nba2k13, the screen becomes checkered then the laptop restarts
    - then sometimes my laptop won't turn on, just like the cycle i said 3secs interval then i'll wait for hours then it will turn on
    - and because i think that the gpu card is the problem, i disabled the ati video card in device manager, and i thought after disabling it the laptop won't have issues anymore
    - then now, after updating my bios to 1.25 the laptop won't turn on
    - i forgot to tell that i also have bluescreen issues before, sometimes it really happens
    - the fan moves, i can hear and feel it.
    - cpu heatsink still gets hot

Thank you very much for your time and effort mate!
    i really appreciate it,

    Godbless

Hi mate! Tnx for the advice! I already heat reflowed my acer 4745g. I brought it at acer servicr center and i let them diagnose it then they told me that it just needed to heat reflow the graphics chip.
    It costs me around $20.

Right now, the ati gpu and the intel hd graphics card still disabled in the device manager. Im afraid to enable it again because i think it might trigger the issue again where i cant turn on my laptop. What can you advice mate? Do u think its alright if i enable the intel hd graphics in the device manager?
Or should i just disable it?

    Thanks mate!!!tnx so much!

Note: ill not use the laptop for gaming anymore, just for office works.

ok, i'll enable it later. I just hope that it won't trigger the issue anymore.
My problem about cleaning the heatsink is that I can't open or I don't know how to open the back of the laptop where the heatsink is located.
Do you know any video tutorial for acer 4745g so that i can have a guide?
I only know where the ram is located, that is the only part of the back that i can open. And the heatsink is not there.

    tnx alot!:)
