BIOS_Acer_2.19_A_A.zip (After decompressing) -> BIOS_Acer_2.19_Windows\DOS\JE40219.ROM is the bios file. Rename it as necessary.

after downloading it. and renamed the file to bios.cap... still wont go boot :busted_red:
maybe there is a separate file for acer 4750g BIOS.cap the acer service center use.

I'll take a look at this later tonight for you. In the meantime, can you tell me everything you know so far?

@drewb95 yes i can tell you..

About my acer 4750g, i downloaded a service manual for acer service center.
There i can see that acer 4750g is a SecureCore Tiano Bios
You can recover its bios by using usb and placing a BIOS.cap file on it.
    Recovery Mode is (fn+esc)

But Bios update files JE40219 from acer website dont work.

I already see some forums that the ROM file in bios update file must be converted or remove some hex data on it.... sory for bad english..

    ahh cut platform data.

i wonder if the smaller .wph file is it then because the flash.bat in original dos shows
    Code:
    Pflash.exe /cvar /bbl /silent /exit /sv /sd JE40219.ROM

    KBC /E 08 AA
    KBC /E 00 54
    KBC /E 08 11
    KBC /E 00 c7
also this file is intresting in DOS
    Efildr16
    EFI loader 16

and it seems to be BIOS.cap
    Code:
    ®.±†BIOS.cap....EL TORITO SPECIFICATION.CD001
take DVD and HDD drive out if using usb.. just a hunch.

Can you please provide a link to where you saw that hex data needed to be removed?

EDIT: Nevermind, I believe I found something. I'm going to give it a shot, and I'll post back when I'm done. Wish me luck!

may I have a copy of this .cap file please? I have an Acer Aspire 4750G that won't boot up after flashing a new BIOS version as well.
