Which manufacturer these days isn't known for "cheap stuff?" (yeah, even Apple, although not dollar-wise)
So was my first Toshiba laptop. My current one is going on four years. You had a point? And my first iPhone face cracked the very first time it hit the floor after a drop from my desk (about 36"). It's all "cheap" these days. As far as Dell, I can't count the number of motherboards that quit working I've had to replace for clients (OK, I can, seven out of nine).
As I mentioned, let me know when you do it without "cheap" parts and do it better (and for less expense) than Acer, Toshiba et al, OK?
