I have read all the indication for a bios recovery, but i had no fortune Sad this is the step that i made to make the aspire 1604LM model no :M52135 dead (they are a few Wink ) - I downloaded the firmware from the acer website under support - selected the notebook 1600 series - unzipped the file - executed the file - the program confirmed the successful operation asking for reboot - reboot the notebook - black screen - waiting ... ( maybe it was doing something) - waiting always looking the black screen ... - [censored]!! - i noticed that the led of dvd-rom is blinking ... - after a power-off -black screan ...dead Sad - i need a bios file (no .exe) for this old laptop
Yes im sure here is the pic on the site i found one and i downloaded it and since then my laptop has been broken I have a friend who has a bios programer and he would flash the bios with the right rom file I founded on the internet some files.wph wich is 528 kb and not 524 kb (in the hex editor i seen that some go to 8000 but this one is more than 8000 ) Just to add that on plcc32 bios chip was a sticker that says toucan 3
