hi.. i'm having problem here with acer aspire 4520G from my friend.. before it suddenly dead..but i didn't do any flashing (that made it dead) the screen is black. power led is on then 3 to 4sec its restating. we took it to service center, they just told us that this model have video card problem. checkup diagnostic it cost 35usd to verify what is the exact problem. we did not go thru because we dont have to waste money only to know or to check only what is the exact problem. so we tried to search at website what is the problem of the aspire 4520g. some forum said it maybe only a corrupt bios. we tried crisis bios recovery with this bios version Z03_3626.wph i used usb stick and followed instructions, after 10mins of waiting i power off the laptop. The laptop is not responding, the power button press but no power or led lights comes up. OH no its damage, it got worse. Please help and give some advise how to recover this or we have to trow it away. some other tech advise is to remove or replace bios chip but we do not know where is the bios chip from the board located and also where to buy or what bios chip are compatible. thx.
