acer aspire 4736z changing os

    I want to change my os from windows 7 to xp on my acer aspire 4736z and I'am trying to find more info on how to do this if anyone could point me in the rite direction I would be much apreciated. thanks for any help

    u can use "XP MODE"

    this is Windows under windows tech

    so...u can work with XP inside windows7

    search 4 the xp mode download page

    2 download the last update with the Mode

    no the 4736z has a intel 4200 processor which does not support VT. he will not beable to run "xp mode". But windows 7 32 or 64 will work just fine.

    Go get a copy and install it. Check acer website for any drivers that didn't install.

    Just change the HDD setting in BIOS to IDE and boot - install from XP CD.
    Format c:\ when asked to select partition
