acer aspire 5742-6838 master bios password

    Can anyone tell me how to get the master bios password for acer aspire 5742-6838

    Insyde H2O EFI 2.0 NB Bios version 1.15

    appreciate the thought but there is no code to input it just says "Input CURRENT Password"

    After 3 unsuccessful retries, you should get a hash form the bios. Enter that hash in the given site & it will give you the master password.

    oh ok my bad

    i will remember that site but i was able to get the password off the old fashion way pulling the bios battery main battery and ac adapter off of it :)

    man i love this site :) :)

    if it boots from hdd u can remove hdd and use usb dos to run cmospwd.
    but that doesnt always work.
