acer aspire xl1430 backup

    ive just bougth said pc . i want to make a back up on dvd in case i have to reformat .i didnt get any software with it. but i know you can back the system up . what i want to know is how been looking at backup/restore. do i make a system image if so will that back all my drivers up or do i make creat a new fullbackup.theres 3 option but im not sure which to use theres
    1 creat system image
    2 creat system repais disc
    3 creat a new, full back up

    please can some1 help and tell me which to use so if something goes wrong i can put disc back in and do a full format i want to back everything up drivers the lot everything that is in pc . newbie at this that is why im asking for help thanks.

    Choose Option 1 & 2. 1 Will do a full clone backup and 2 will create the startup disc needed to reinstall the image. I would recommend you back up to a large external hard drive

    thanks for your reply i dont have a spare external hard drive thats why i wanted to put it on disc.so should i go for option 2 then.and will it back up all the drivers.or do i go 1 and 2 thanks.

    Download your drivers from your manufacturer's website and then do a complete system image backup
