ACER INSYDE / INSYDEH2O BIOS – DMI TAG SETTING FOR GENUINE FACTORY PERMANENT SLIC 2.1 AND MSDM TABLES + ACTIVATION (QUANTA, WISTRON, COMPAL BOARDS) Hello everybody, sorry for my very bad English (I'm Indonesian),please understand it correctly, hopefully clear for you.... Just want to share my little knowledge away here, hopefully useful for other Acer users who may need it to achieve genuine activation. Since there’s almost no available Acer official tool leaked to enable original native SLIC 2.1 (unlike other manufacturers : HP, Lenovo, Fujitsu etc) and not many working guides...Basically the big OEMs like Acer, Dell, ASUS etc only always set a tag to enable or disable the BIOS SLIC... Only BIOS mods available so far (and usually not permanent SLIC for Acer users, especially for newer BIOSes...) ... Based on my personal experience (ment) to successfully enable A genuine permanent SLIC table activation on an Acer Computer (proved). I’m a just a newbie here on this awesome forum with a practice, no BIOS skill , no advanced programming even no good English. I know MyDigitallife forum is full of dedicated BIOS experts, so i have a very big respect to all. Thanks for the confirmation friend, glad to know that for additional info this SLIC & MSDM "factory genuine method" should also work on other "Acer brands family" computers as well (Gateway, eMachines, Packard Bell...) with InsydeH2O BIOS/UEFI and corresponding boards anyway hopefully useful cya
