Try to compare 2 laptops and while most of the time a faster processor is better but doesnt it depend on other things such as cache etc.? I found and Acer v5-531-4636 on sale for $224. Also saw this Toshiba l655-S5154. The Toshiba has a faster processor but what part will the graphics card play? The Toshiba is my older laptop and I upgraded to 8 gb memory. Not sure if there is any benefit in keeping the Acer or trying to sell for a profit.
You Ive had or own several Toshiba. Sold that anyhow and now looking for a smaller/lighter laptop. Thanks for the info though.

Acer vs Toshiba - I would choose Thoshiba any day. Better and more reliable than Acer. HP Envy is also a very good choice . I also own an HP dm4 i5 14' 500GB with 4GB RAM and I'm very happy with it.
