Acer Phoenix Bios .wph-File wrong size

    What is to do if the Bios-file have the wrong size to mod with PBE?
    How can i mod the Bios?
    I have an Acer Travelmate 4400 (the M26-Bios of the Travelmate 4400 Bioses).

    Is it WPH format ant the size is 1,054,816 bytes ? If so, open it with an HexEditor and cut out the last 6240 bytes, then save it as .ROM. The new file size should be 1,048,576 bytes. The you will be able to open it with PBE. After you finished editing your BIOS attach back those 6240 bytes and save it as .WPH. Hope this helps!

    No its 516Kb. I will try the cutting Method, thnx.
