Dear Members, I am trying for a couple of days to get my laptop running again, but nothing seems to help. I have tried the FN+ESC power up with usb disk and the .fd files from lots of BIOS updates from the acer support site. I see the laptop is reading my USB stick but it won't shutoff. It looks like it's in a loop after 10 minutes. You see USB led come up then HDD and then off, the same thing ever 3 minutes or so. Are there any members here who also have an simular laptop travelmate 5740 who has got it back alife ? Please help me!
Nobody who can help me out to fix this bastard. Is there crisis software for this laptop, or just trying to get a old usb stick lower then 8 GB to format FAT, copy the .FD file and run it from there. Please I need some help here..
