Acer w/VistaBasic can I put on WinXPSP3 with no problems

I have an Acer computer that came preinstalled with VistaBasic. I have the restore disk but I want to install WinXP3.
I have an WinXP3 OEM Disk. I also have a WinXP Professional OEM sticker w/serial off an old computer.
I guess what i am saying is I want to intall WinXP OEM on my Acer that came with VistaBasic. Can i do that? If not what problem will i have and how do i resolve it?

    Thanks so much

If the WinXP3 OEM disk had been previously used to install XP on a different system and registered/activated then that OEM version of XP is permanently tied to that system and and cannot be used to install XP on a different system. Only retail versions can be moved to a different system as you change/upgrade hardware.

@DesertJerry, how about you say nothing, instead of complete r******s?

To both of you, read stickies & learn, anything can be done
