Hi, I am trying to install win 10 on a pc. I am trying to use gparted live to erase the previous OS so I can start from the beginning. When I insert the usb with gparted live on it, it comes up saying ACPI error. Same happens with DVD. I have an asrock mobo in case u r wondering. How can I fix this error?

    thx

Set the HDD in BIOS to Legacy Mode and try again.

What happens when you boot the windows dvd/usb? No gparted (or any 3rd party tool) should be needed.
